WORLD PRESIDENT MR. STEPHANE CABRERA TALKS ABOUT WKN IN AUSTRALIA

FIGHT Magazine Network talked to WKN World president in concern to Domination 4 and federation branch.

FIGHT Magazine Network: Domination 4 – featuring Australia’s best John Wayne Parr challenging the World title. What is the goal of this promotion?
Stephane CABRERA: This is the best way to start WKN in Australia. The best European fighter vs the best Australian one. This is the bridge between 2 continents that will make a historical event, and also the roots of new market for australian fighters to compete all around the World, as WKN is a real international federation and active everywhere.

FIGHT Magazine Network: WKN is back to Australia, tell us about the present office of operations based in WA?
Stephane CABRERA: This new representative that we have agreed to open with Mr. Darren CUROVIC under the recommendation of my friend Mr. Parviz ISKENDEROV that has also been granted as WKN International coordinator for Australia. We have just started this representative and in a few months after that, we have the biggest event promoted in Australia… So I can not dream something better !

FIGHT Magazine Network: What options and perspective WKN can give to fight sport in Australia?
Stephane CABRERA: A real world recognition of all Australian talents, as I know since very long that this continent has the most of the best fighters of the World. There is special fight spirit in Australia that you can not find everywhere… WKN will put it on the light and will work to make Worldwide famous. We already have different promotions confirmed where Australians are invited and more will come.

FIGHT Magazine Network: WKN called out a very big interest, is it hard to join the network’s branch here in Australia?
Stephane CABRERA: It is the most easiest way possible: free and open to everyone. WKN does not play any political games, we are the №1 in the World because we are just honest, serious and a real big family. We don’t speak, we don’t dream… We just make our job everywhere in the World and now in Australia.

FIGHT Magazine Network: You, personally invited as a special guest to Domination 4. Is it the way to control or to support the promotion?
Stephane CABRERA: It is the way to join Australia to our World family. I’m not there to control anything but to give maybe more exposure in the promotions regarding my function. I usually go to 5% maybe 10% of WKN shows… My work is in the shadow and I’m not coming in Australia to teach anything or give lessons. Just to have more friends and partners and to assist one of the biggest muay thai promotion in the World.

FIGHT Magazine Network: WKN’s slogan says “Simply The Best” could you tell us what is hidden behind?
Stephane Cabrera: It’s hidden nothing! It means what we are and the way we are… It’s not so many federations in this fight sport that can perform being really Worldwide and that can say they have work with the main figure in the sport in general (Don King, Marvin Hagler, Maradona… and so many others!)
